KITCHEN UTILITY KNIFE
Following 1-day workshop is on offer:
Saturday July 11th from 8:30am-4:30pm – postponed
The workshop is intended for people who have little to no experience in forging or knife making but students need to be prepared for a hands on experience and some physical output will be required. Minimum age is 18.
Tobi Bockholt from Metal Monkey Knives will teach students all the necessary steps to make a traditional hand forged knife. The process will involve forging and shaping a high carbon steel blade, hardening and sharpening the blade and shaping and fixing a blackwood handle blank. At the end of the day participants will be able to take home a unique utility knife, ready to be used in the kitchen.
